With harvests at their peak, summer is an ideal time to take advantage of this abundance by incorporating local foods on menus and providing garden experiences in Summer Food Service Programs. This webinar will provide an overview of general procurement requirements, local procurement, and gardening in Summer Food Service Programs, including examples from two Pennsylvania programs.

This webinar is being offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food and Nutrition, in collaboration with Project PA (Penn State).
