Sponsors of the School Meal Programs are required to provide reasonable modifications to Program meals or the meal service to accommodate children with disabilities. The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Amendments Act of 2008 made important changes to the meaning and interpretation of the term “disability.” This webinar will review updated guidance from USDA based on changes made by the ADA Amendments Act, and offer an overview of how sponsors can prepare to implement this new guidance in the upcoming school year.

This webinar is being offered by the Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food and Nutrition, in collaboration with Project PA.

This is not a series of webinars. The same webinar will be offered three times.
