In June 2005, the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE), Division of Food and Nutrition, presented three identical 1 1/2 day training sessions to provide training for school Food Service Directors based on the Child Nutrition and WIC Reuthorization Act of 2004.
Topics covered in each 1 1/2 day session included free/reduced eligibility determination and verification, direct certification, direct verification, local wellness policies, the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, and more ....
Use the links below to access online copies of materials that were viewed and distributed at the training sessions. The PowerPoint presentations may be modified to suit your particular needs, as long as the meaning of the content remains intact.
