This is Part Two of a two-part session.

 

When?
May 3 and 4, 2023

  • Day 1 Registration will begin at 8:00am until 8:15. The session will begin at 8:15am and end at 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided.
  • Day 2 will begin at 8:00am and end at 10:30am.
  • The “Menu Planning in PrimeroEdge” session will begin at 11:00am on May 4th and end at 3:30pm, with a working lunch provided.

Registration:
Registration deadline is April 12rth, 2023. There is no cost for registration. 

Only individuals who attended the Part 1 orientation session in October 2022 are eligible to attend these sessions. Please do not share this announcement with others.

Orientation Session Topics
Topics expected to be covered during the orientation session include Financial Management, Personnel Management, Wellness Policies (please bring a copy of your wellness policy), Professional Standards, Farm to School, Expanding School Breakfast, Food Safety Compliance, Environmental and Biosecurity Management, and Marketing. In addition, during a special breakout session on Day 2, School Nutrition Program staff from PDE will be doing small group walkthroughs of the 23-24 SY Application. Please bring a laptop computer.

Menu Planning in PrimeroEdge Description
Set yourself up for success with PrimeroEdge menu planning software! Learn the basics of the PrimeroEdge software and dive deeper into optimizing your use of the software in your district. Together, we’ll address building menus, analyzing menus, using production module and so much more. This course will help those who are new to the software as well as provide practical tips and timesavers for those more familiar. For this session, you will need to bring a computer. A mouse and power cord are also recommended. You will also need a PrimeroEdge login and password. Scholarships
We have a limited number of scholarships ($200) available to support attending the orientation session and menu planning session. If we have enough funding available to support everyone who has registered by April 12th, everyone will receive this funding. If we do not have enough funds to support everyone who is registered, those receiving funding will be chosen randomly.
