The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Division of Food and Nutrition, in collaboration with Penn State (Project PA) presented a webinar showcasing projects at PA schools to enhance the quality of school meals and students’ perceptions of school meals. Three school food service directors discussed strategies they implemented through grant funding to improve staff confidence, prepare new recipes, and provide opportunities for students to try new dishes and offer feedback.
